摘要:

Modern society depends on faster, safer, and environment friendly transportation system. Vehicular communications network in terms of vehicle to vehicle, vehicle to infrastructure, vehicle to pedestrian, vehicle to cloud, and vehicle to sensor, can provide a solution to modern transportation system. In this talk, we first introduce the all connected vehicles. We then present the applications, challenges and scientific research issues of vehicular communications network.  We also explain the role of vehicular networking in the automated driving era. We conclude the talk by discussing the future Space-Air-Ground (SAG) Integration.

沈学民教授现为加拿大滑铁卢大学电子与计算机工程系University Research Chair,博士生导师,IEEE Fellow,加拿大工程院院士,加拿大皇家学会研究院院士。沈学民院士目前担任IEEE Internet of Things Journal主编,IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communication 、IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology、Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing等知名国际期刊的副主编、编委。沈院士1992加入加拿大滑铁卢大学电子与计算机工程系,目前为该校一级教授。他的研究方向为无线网络安全、物联网、自动驾驶、车联网和无线资源优化管理、无线体域网和传感器网络,并在无线网络安全与车辆通信网络领域内拥有深厚的学术研究背景,享有很高的国际学术声誉。
