摘要:
Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) is a rapidly developing IoT technology which uses RF signals for automatic identification of objects. One of its most promising applications is to track the mobile objects accurately indoors. Many applications would benefit from high-precision tracking (cm- and mm-level). The underlying principle behind the tracking approaches is to regard each tag reading as one sampling of its trajectory, which imposes a tacit assumption; that is, the sampling (i.e. reading rate) must be sufficiently high-rated, precise, noise-free and stable. However, such strict condition cannot be always fulfilled all the time in practice. This talk revisits our efforts made in the past five years on the real-time tracking of mobile RFIDs with respect to the accuracy, speed, reliability and stability. I am also glad to share our on-going research and the future vision.
